She studied Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Thessaly, from which she graduated in 2010. She conducted her dissertation in the Laboratory of Pharmacology of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly.
She continued her postgraduate studies at the School of Molecular Medicine of the Institute of Neurology and Genetics in Cyprus, from which she graduated taking the diploma of M.Sc. in Medical Genetics in 2013 and conducted her dissertation on the "non-invasive prenatal diagnosis" in the Cytogenetics and Genomics Laboratory of the Institute.

She is specialized in molecular biology techniques and she has laboratory experience in microbiology and research programs and since 2015 she is working in Embryogenesis specializing in the Preimplantation Genetic Screening of Chromosomal Abnormalities. PCR, arrayCGH at the single cell level, examination of the DNA fragmentation in the sperm with SCD analysis, micromanipulation of embryos and gametes, cell cultures.
